Development for Startups and SaaS
A startup needs to ship fast to test its market, without building something that will have to be thrown away at the first funding round. We build MVPs and SaaS products on a serious base (TypeScript, tests, CI, reproducible infrastructure), slicing the scope so the first version ships in weeks, not months, and your future team can take over the code.
Describe my projectWhat we do
MVP in weeks
Scoping to isolate the core value, frozen scope, weekly deliveries to staging: a first version testable by real users in 4 to 10 weeks.
Multi-tenant SaaS
Accounts and organisations, roles and permissions, data isolation, Stripe billing (subscriptions, trials, invoices), admin dashboard.
Architecture that grows
Next.js or React + Node API, PostgreSQL, job queues, monitoring: standard, documented choices any senior developer knows.
Takeover and hand-off
Versioned code, tests, CI/CD, architecture and onboarding documentation: when you hire a CTO or a team, they take over in days, not months.
Shipping fast without going into debt
Technical debt is not an inevitability of MVPs: it is the result of rushed choices on foundations (home-made authentication, unmigrated database, no tests on payments). We lay those foundations properly in a few days, then move fast on the rest, where iteration is healthy.
The SaaS beyond V1
Multi-tenancy, plans and billing, team invitations, audit logs, public API, compliance to sell to enterprises: we know the typical SaaS roadmap and design V1 to accommodate it without a rewrite. A mobile app can follow later on the same API. We can also integrate AI features when they genuinely serve the product.
Industry constraints
- Scope: a successful MVP does one thing well; we refuse to put everything in V1 and we document what is deferred.
- Data and GDPR from V1: consent, account export and deletion, European hosting, which avoids a rework at the first enterprise customer's request.
- Security: proven authentication (nothing home-made), secrets out of the code, monitored dependencies, an audit before the first paying customers.
- Infrastructure costs: sized for the first months, not for the hypothetical funding round; scaling planned but not paid for in advance.
Why ELDEV
Startups and SaaS
We have seen rushed MVPs that had to be rewritten just as traction arrived, and over-architected MVPs that never shipped. We hold the middle ground: a standard, solid stack, no microservices before they are needed, tests where they matter, and scope discipline to actually deliver. One point of contact, a reply within 12 hours, code you own and can show an investor or a CTO.
