What we do

01

iOS and Android apps in TypeScript

A single React Native codebase for both platforms, strict TypeScript, native navigation, platform-specific components where they matter.

02

Expo and over-the-air updates

Cloud builds with EAS, test distribution, JavaScript updates pushed without going back through store review for minor fixes.

03

Sharing with your web app

Types, business logic, API calls and sometimes components shared in a monorepo with your React or Next.js application: less code, fewer bugs.

04

Native features

Push notifications, camera, geolocation, in-app payments, biometrics, offline mode: through Expo modules or native modules when required.

The right use of React Native

React Native shines when a web team wants to ship a mobile app without starting over, when the product moves fast (over-the-air updates) and when the interface stays close to each platform's conventions. We build the app around native navigation, a robust data cache and careful loading and error states: that is the difference between an app that works and an app that is pleasant to use.

Publishing and the life of the app

We configure the Apple and Google accounts, certificates and profiles, the EAS pipeline, then submit the app and handle review feedback. After launch, JavaScript updates deploy in minutes and native updates follow the store cycle. Everything is documented so your team can take over, or we keep following the app under a maintenance plan.

Why ELDEV
React Native

We have mastered React on the web for years, which makes React Native a natural extension: the same rigour on architecture, state and tests. We also know where the platform has limits (complex animations, intensive hardware access) and steer you towards Flutter or native when that is the honest answer. App tested on real devices, published, documented, and followed after launch.

Frequently asked questions

React Native or Flutter?
React Native if your team or product is already on React and you want to share code; Flutter for a highly graphical interface or pixel-identical rendering. Either way the result is indistinguishable from native for most uses.
Does Expo limit what the app can do?
Not any more. With development builds and native modules, Expo covers almost every need, and we can write a native Swift or Kotlin module for the rest.
How much does a React Native app cost?
It depends on screens, native features and the back-end API. An MVP ships in 6 to 10 weeks; precise quote after a free scoping call: get in touch, reply within 12 hours.
Can you take over an existing React Native app?
Yes. Audit of dependencies and React Native version, migration plan (often to Expo), performance fixes and store compliance. See our mobile apps service.

A project, an outage, a question?

Describe your need in a few lines. Free scoping, reply within 12 business hours, and a single point of contact from the first exchange to launch.
